Nearby is Salt Village (a 3-minute drive away) with its wide variety of restaurants (seafood, Thai, Italian, pizza and fish and chips), a beach pub and The Spa at Salt. Walk to Cabarita along natural beach trails and have lunch at Paper Daisy, one of the best regional restaurants in Australia. From Cabarita you can hire a bike and ride the beach path all the way up to Kingscliff.
Casuarina is 20 minutes drive from Gold Coast Airport, 1 hour 20 minutes from Brisbane, 35 minutes from Byron Bay and 40 minutes from Dream World, Sea World Movie World and Wet and Wild.
